Identification administration and governance supplier SailPoint has disclosed a cybersecurity incident involving its GitHub repositories.
In a submitting with the Securities and Alternate Fee (SEC), the corporate revealed that the incident occurred on April 20 and was instantly contained.
“On April 20, 2026, we detected unauthorized entry to a subset of our GitHub repositories. Our incident response workforce rapidly terminated the unauthorized exercise and resolved the difficulty,” the SEC submitting reads.

In keeping with SailPoint, the repositories had been compromised by means of a vulnerability in a third-party software. The underlying difficulty has been addressed, it mentioned.
