Throughout the identical window, Downdetector noticed a spike in drawback stories for enterprise companies together with Shopify, Zoom, Claude AI, and Amazon Internet Companies, and a bunch of shopper companies from video games to relationship apps.
Cloudflare defined the outage on its service standing web page: “A change made to how Cloudflare’s Internet Software Firewall parses requests induced Cloudflare’s community to be unavailable for a number of minutes this morning. This was not an assault; the change was deployed by our staff to assist mitigate the industry-wide vulnerability disclosed this week in React Server Elements.”
That vulnerability, tracked as CVE-2025-55182, permits attackers to remotely execute code on net servers working the React 19 library. Cloudflare was little question trying to guard these of its clients who haven’t but had a chance to patch the vulnerability within the two days because it was revealed.
