BWH Resorts Says Hackers Had Entry to Reservation Data for six Months

Hospitality group BWH Resorts is informing some visitors that hackers had entry to reservation information for greater than six months.

BWH Resorts operates greater than 4,000 accommodations worldwide, together with manufacturers similar to WorldHotels, Finest Western Resorts & Resorts, and Certain Resorts.

Emails despatched to prospects affected by the data breach reveal that the intrusion was found on April 22, and an investigation confirmed that risk actors had entry since October 14, 2025.

The corporate mentioned the attackers gained entry to an online software housing some visitor reservation information, together with names, e-mail addresses, cellphone numbers, and reservation particulars.

“Importantly, cost and different monetary data was not saved within the affected system and due to this fact was not accessed,” BWH Resorts said.

It’s unclear what number of people had been affected by the incident.

The corporate took the compromised software offline after discovering the intrusion and launched an investigation with the help of exterior security specialists.

The lodge group appears involved that the attackers could leverage the stolen information for scams and phishing.

No recognized cybercrime group seems to have taken credit score for the assault on BWH Resorts.
