US NSA alleged to have launched a cyber assault on a Chinese language company

A cyber assault “would affect the safe and secure operation of ‘Beijing Time,’” says the publish, referring to the nation’s single time zone.

An assault, the publish says, would lead “to severe penalties corresponding to community communication failures, monetary system disruptions, energy outages, transportation disruptions, and house launch failures. It may even trigger chaos in worldwide time, leading to incalculable injury and losses.”

Allegedly took benefit of SMS vulnerability

The WeChat publish alleges that, beginning on March 25, 2022, “the NSA exploited a vulnerability within the SMS service of an abroad cell phone model to covertly assault and achieve management of the cell phones of a number of NSC workers members, stealing delicate information saved inside them.”
